Work in Canada
A work permit is a written authorization issued to foreign nationals to work in Canada.
Contact us for work permits and applications for temporary workers, business people, students and caregivers.
Employers looking to hire foreign nationals may need to apply for a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) through Employment and Social Development Canada/Service Canada.
A positive LMIA will show that there is a need for a foreign worker to fill the job.
If you are an employer looking to hire please contact for further details.
Temporary Workers
There are specific requirements to be met by all applicants depending on if they are applying from inside or outside of Canada.
There are two types of work permits: Open Work permit and Employer Specific Work permit.
The employer who wants to hire you must complete certain steps and give you either a copy of a Labour Market Impact Assessment or an offer of employment number to include in your application before you apply for an Employer Specific Work permit.
