Study in Canada

Foreign Nationals looking to study at designated Canadian learning instituions can apply for a study permit, if the period of study is longer than six months. A student must meet additional requirements in order to apply for a study permit. You may require a visa to enter Canada depending on your country of citizenship. Work in Canada

A work permit is a written authorization issued to Foreign Nationals which allows them to work in Canada. Apart from the Temporary Foreign Worker program, there are other categories of work permits such as the International Mobility Program, Spousal Open Work Permit, Post Graduate Work Permit, and Global Skills strategy. An employer looking to hire a foreign national may need to apply for a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA).

Express Entry is an online system that the federal government uses to select skilled workers.
